Executive Engineer National Highways Roorkee Suresh Tomar said that the damaged and potholed roads have been identified and work is being done on priority basis. The progress of the work is being monitored by the officials by continuous inspection on the spot.
The District Magistrate has given instructions to complete the quality work within the stipulated time and not to be negligent in any way. With the roads becoming pothole free, the local people along with the devotees and tourists coming to Haridwar will get ease of transportation. The Chief Minister has set the target of making the roads of the state pothole free by October 15.
