Status quo order of High Court on alleged illegal exchange of village society land in Bahadarabad

(Kapil Kumar) Bahadarabad. Uttarakhand High Court has ordered to maintain status quo in the case of alleged illegal exchange of about 1.0090 hectare land of village society in village Bahadarabad. The court has directed the parties concerned to file counter affidavits within four weeks.

Status quo order of High Court on alleged illegal exchange of village society land in Bahadarabad

The petitioners allege that the land of the village society was exchanged against the rules and later plotting was done and about 120 mango trees standing on the land and other trees were removed. After this, it is said that the plot will be sold to third parties.

In this case, the High Court has given instructions not to create new interest in favor of any third party on the concerned land. The next hearing will be on 26 October 2026. Advocates Brahmachari Sudanand and Gaurav appeared on behalf of the petitioners. The efforts of Abhishek Pratap Pal (Johny), Umesh Kumar, Suraj Pal and Vinod Kumar have been mentioned on behalf of the villagers.
