Live staging of the battle between Shri Krishna and Kansa will be the main attraction in the Kansa Vadh Mela. According to religious beliefs, Lord Krishna reached Mathura and killed the tyrant Kansa. This mythological incident will be staged in the fair as per the local tradition.
Preparations for organizing the fair have been completed. Various types of shops, food stalls and entertainment facilities have also been set up at the venue. Due to this, there is enthusiasm about the fair among all sections of people including children, youth and women.
