Administration's campaign against illegal encroachment continued for the second day, action from Balmiki Chowk to Shivmurti Chowk

(Kapil Kumar) Haridwar. With the aim of maintaining smooth traffic system of the city, making public roads encroachment free and conducting the upcoming Kumbh Mela in an organized manner, the district administration campaigned against illegal encroachment for the second day.

Administration's campaign against illegal encroachment continued for the second day, action from Balmiki Chowk to Shivmurti Chowk

Under the direction of District Magistrate Mayur Dixit, the administrative team led by City Magistrate Har Giri conducted a comprehensive removal of encroachment campaign from Balmiki Chowk to Shivmurti Chowk. During this period, illegal encroachments on roadsides, footpaths and public places were removed.

As soon as the administrative team arrived, many encroachers collected their belongings themselves, while at other places the team took action and removed the encroachments. The campaign created panic among the encroachers in the area.

The administration made it clear that any kind of illegal encroachment on public roads, footpaths and government land will not be tolerated. District administration, Municipal Corporation team and police force were present in the remove encroachment campaign.
