According to the police, during checking in front of Hotel Lajja on October 11, 2026, 55 pav of illicit English liquor was recovered from the possession of accused Chandan (26 years), resident of Ravidas Basti, RK Mission Road, Kankhal, Haridwar. Case number 379/26 has been registered in the case at Kotwali Bahadarabad.
The police team that took action included Additional Sub-Inspector Mahendra Singh, Constable Vikram Singh and Constable Avnesh Rana.
