According to the information, on Saturday, Mahendra (22 years) son of Mangal Singh, resident of Tehsil Swar, District Rampur (Uttar Pradesh) got trapped in the strong flow of Ganga below New Sanjay Bridge from Kangra Ghat. As soon as the information was received, the team of Water Police and SDRF reached the spot and conducted a joint operation and took the youth out safely.
