As soon as the information was received, SDRF soldiers under the leadership of SI Pankaj Singh Kharola started the rescue operation without wasting any time. Despite the strong currents and challenging conditions, SDRF jawans displayed courage and promptness and reached the two women and pulled them out of the Ganga safely. After the rescue, the condition of both the women was said to be safe. Both the women are residents of Uttar Pradesh. A major accident was averted due to the timely action taken by the SDRF team. After coming out safely, both the women expressed their gratitude to the SDRF rescue team and appreciated the promptness and courage of the soldiers.

The promptness of SDRF became a life saver amidst the strong current. The speed and courage with which the rescue operation was carried out by the SDRF soldiers amidst the strong flow of Ganga, once again proved how the rescue team plays an important role in saving the lives of people by taking immediate action in disaster and emergency situations.
