He informed that the registration of farmers is going on from July 7, 2026. After registration, farmers will be able to sell paddy at their nearest government purchasing centre. The Government of India has set the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of common paddy at ₹2,441 per quintal and that of Grade-A paddy at ₹2,461 per quintal. Farmers have been appealed to carry Aadhar card, bank account details and land records at the time of registration and to get face recognition based e-KYC done. Also, a request has been made to bring only clean and dry paddy as per the prescribed quality standards at the procurement centres, so that the farmers can get the full benefit of MSP. Paddy procurement will start from October 1, farmers should soon register on Smart PDS app and farmer portal.

Sub Divisional Marketing Officer Pramod Sati has appealed to the farmer brothers to register on time through Smart PDS App, Kisan Portal, Common Service Center (CSC) or their nearest paddy purchasing center.
