On the basis of documents present in the purse and available information, the police contacted its owner Dharmendra, resident of Rohtak (Haryana). After the completion of the verification process, the purse was handed back to him safely.
On suddenly getting his lost purse back, Dharmendra expressed his gratitude to the Haridwar Police and appreciated the honesty, responsibility and prompt action of the policemen. He said that getting back the things lost in the crowded fair is no less than a relief for them.
