Today, a total of 32 lakh 25 thousand Shiva devotees took holy Ganga water from Haridwar and left for their respective destinations. According to the data received from the Police Control Room, since the beginning of Kanwar Yatra, a total of 1 crore 9 lakh 10 thousand Shiva devotees have left for different states with the holy Ganga water. In view of the ever increasing number of devotees in Haridwar, all necessary arrangements are being made smoothly by the district administration and police administration. To keep the Kanwar Yatra safe, well organized and smooth, officers and employees of various departments are continuously discharging their responsibilities. Special monitoring is being done on security, traffic, health, cleanliness and other necessary arrangements at major bathing ghats, Kanwar routes and sensitive places. The district administration has appealed to all Shiv devotees to follow the prescribed routes during the yatra, follow the guidelines issued by the administration and police and provide their support in conducting a clean and safe Kanwar Yatra.
