In the meeting, Leading District Manager (LDM) Dinesh Gupta stressed on establishing better coordination between the bank and government departments, so that the benefits of government schemes can reach the eligible beneficiaries in a timely manner. During this, the progress of loan applications, approval and distribution under Government Sponsored Schemes was reviewed. Besides, the situation of credit flow, NPA management and financial inclusion in agriculture, MSME and other priority sectors was also discussed.
The Additional District Magistrate directed all the banks and departments to timely dispose of the loan proposals of eligible beneficiaries and ensure effective implementation of public welfare schemes. He said that better banking coordination will accelerate the economic and financial development of the district.
