In the selection process conducted in four age groups, players were evaluated on the basis of sports skills and efficiency along with battery test. Selected players will be given scholarship of ₹ 2,000 per month and ₹ 10,000 annual assistance for sports equipment through DBT.
On August 21, selection trials for basketball, taekwondo, football, table-tennis and volleyball will be organized at Yogasthali Sports Complex from 8 am. The selection process is being conducted in coordination with the District Sports, Education, Medical and Youth Welfare Department.
