Under the Operation Recovery being run under the direction of SSP Navneet Singh Bhullar, Kotwali Kaliyar Police achieved great success and recovered 52 lost mobile phones of various companies with the help of CEIR portal. The estimated value of the recovered mobiles is said to be more than ₹ 10 lakh.
In a program organized at Kotwali Kaliyar on Saturday, Superintendent of Police Rural Shekhar Chandra Suyal and Area Officer Bhagwanpur Sumit Pandey handed back their phones to the mobile owners. Happiness returned on the faces of people who had given up hope of their mobile for a long time as soon as they got the phone.
Police officials said that along with crime control, Haridwar Police is continuously working to help the common people. On receiving the mobile, people expressed their gratitude to the Haridwar Police and appreciated the working style of the police.
